About

Small rural communities are unique. They have a personality that is steeped in history that is rarely recorded in books and often lost to memory. Most of the events and progress of a small town become tales told and retold among families and neighbours. The Pefferlaw Post has been designed to document these stories and share them among the entire community. It provides a window into the life and times of a vibrant and active community—a community we all take pride in calling home.

The Pefferlaw Post is a bi-weekly newspaper dedicated to serving the residents and businesses of Pefferlaw, Virginia, Port Bolster, Udora and Georgina Island, Sutton, Jackson's Point and Wilfrid. It is published in a convenient and popular 8 1/2” x 11”  format and features news stories, profiles and  a society column.

The contents of the publication are protected by copyright and may only be used for the personal and non-commercial use of its readers.
